Riems Cathedral was started in 1201. A cathedral has been on this site since 410. The kings of France were coroneted here. This cathedral has been a special site for the France an truly Holy place. You feel this spirit when you walk through the doors into it's cavernous nave. Charles VII was coroneted here on 1429, led into the cathedral by Joan of Arc.
