Michelangelo's David was moved from Piazza Della Signoria, to the Galleria dell'Academia. Why allow the public see a master work for free when we will pay to see it. It was sculptured by the master in 1504. You are not allowed to take pictures in the Galleria, but we snapped a few on the sly.
