York Minster Cathedral is the largest Gothic Cathedral in Europe. The Cathedral dates from 1080. The chapter house was begun in the 1260. The stain glass windows cover an extensive period of time. These windows are in a separate page accessed for this site. We attended evening song here, the  sound was tremendous.
