The Loire Valley of France is a historic place in English and French history. The Kings of England for centuries lived here. Henry II and his son, Richard the Lionhearted are buried here. Emily and I stayed in Tours while we drove to through the valley to visit historic sites. The mornings were usually foggy and this added to the lore of this special valley.
